The local Gippsland Fixture is a comprehensive calendar of local meets beginning in October and running through March. The attached Fixture also includes a calendar of local winter meets. Unlike the summer fixture, which is run by GSI and comes under the guidelines of the GSI, winter meets are privately run by clubs. As such, there are different fee structures and entry processes.
Swimmers must compete in 3 local meets (summer fixture) to qualify to swim at the Gippsland Championships in March. Swimmers must swim in 4 meets (incl winter program) to qualify for a Traralgon Club trophy.
Entry process: Find dates of meets of the Fixture and go to Swim Central, log into your home page, click on events and in the calendar find the meet you are interested in.
The 2020/21 fixture will be available as we understand the future of competitive swimming in Gippsland.
