Records Broken

2 Records were recently broken by Traralgon swimmers

Georgia Tsebelis broke the Out of Gippsland Girls 15 – 16 years 200 metre Individual Medley record at the  Qualifying Meet at MSAC. Georgia’s time of 2.24 81 broke Kate Buckley’s time of 2.25.86 from 2001.     Well done, Georgia!

In a special time trial at the Sale meet four girls broke the Gippsland 9 – 10 years 4 x 50 Freestyle relay.     Jasmin Underwood, Caydence Bezzina, Sophie Waller and Annaliese Nix swam 2.22.12 breaking the     previous record held by Morwell of  2.26.27 from 2009. Terrific swim by the girls.

Three of the girls without Jasmin and including Rachael Sbaglia will be attempting to break the    Gippsland record in the Medley this weekend at Sale. The current record is 2.47.39 (Morwell, 2009) and we wish Caydence (Back), Rachael (Breast), Sophie (Fly) and Annaliese (Free) all the best for their attempt.
