It is with great sadness that we learned of the sudden passing of our esteemed member, Bruce Cain. Bruce has been an active and industrious Traralgon Committee member, a willing volunteer at all events and a friend to all.
Bruce joined the Traralgon family in November of 2009 when Bridget began to compete for the club. He has supported the Club as our Publicity Officer and has been consistently involved, regularly attending TSC Committee meetings. If something needed to be purchased, towed, delivered, fixed or adjusted, Bruce was able and willing.
He was often found holding a stop watch at the end of the pool during meets, flipping chicken fillets on a BBQ and joking and teasing with all.
Our club is so much poorer for the loss of Bruce. Sincere sympathy and love to Julie and Bridget.
Wearing our Club colours, as Bruce always did, we gathered on Friday 22nd November at the Morwell Funeral Parlour across from Mid Valley at 1:30pm, to celebrate a life well lived.
