TSC AGM

The Traralgon Swimming Club Annual General Meeting was held on Monday 19th May at the Clubrooms.  Reports were submitted by President, Jane Mitchell; Vice President, Karen Tsebelis; Head Coach, Brian Ford; Registrar, Jodie Clare; New Families and Roster Coordinator, Michael Mihaly; Catering Coordinator, Helen Trickett; Uniform Officer, Carol Reid and Treasurer, Brigitte Maglen.  Jane thanked all committee members for their efforts for the club, with special thanks to Karen Tsebelis who is stepping down after being Vice President since 2010 and was also responsible for the development of the Club Roster and the first Roster Coordinator from 2007 – 2012.  Jodie Clare has been the Registrar since 2011 and has also stepped down.  Jodie was thanked for her role in taking the club into the IMG online registrations era and more recently for exploring the functions of ClubLane and passing her knowledge on to our new Registrar.

Jane declared positions vacant and Life Member Brian Ford took the chair to oversee the election of the 2014/15 committee.  All positions were filled and an enthusiastic committee will serve the needs of the club for the coming season.

The Committee welcomes new members Peter Haberl, Katrina Sbaglia and Fiona Storm and thanks them for their interest and support.

Amongst the items of business were accepting a new set of Model Rules as well as passing the fees and registration cost for the coming season – beginning on July 1.  Thank you to all who attended and added their insights and thoughts regarding all items discussed.

The next TSC meeting is to be held on Monday June 16 at the clubrooms.  The Season Blast Off and Country SC will be the main topics of discussion at that meeting.
