Great day for a swim meet! Sunshine and fast SC swimming. Great to see big visiting teams from Surrey Park and Ivanhoe Neons in Morwell for this early SC event.
Caiden Gill (15) and Mikaela Cornelissen (16) high scored on the day followed by Fabienne, Alice, Erin and Elayna. Riley, Fin, Locke and Caiden broke the Gippsland SC 16 years 4 x 50 freestyle Relay record with a 1:41.33 (record was 1:42.45) Molly Cargill (pictured) broke the Girls 8 years 50 Fly record of 42.44 held by Courtney Ford since 1994 with a time of 40.89.
Thanks to all the Traralgon parents who were time keepers, caterers, announcers and officials, and those who set up and stowed gear at the end. Thanks to Michael and Lenny, Robyn and Heather for the carting and chasing… great day. One team.
