Dive into the Master Blasters Squad! This exciting four-session-per-week program is
perfect for swimmers aged 18 and older who want to stay active, make friends, and
have fun. Whether you’re a new swimmer, a triathlete, or someone looking to
compete, we’ve got you covered.
COMPETITIONS AND GOALS:
– Compete in the Gippsland Swimming Championships by participating in three
summer swim meets.
– Qualify for Country, State, or National levels with guidance from Brian Ford.
– Enjoy a full calendar of events with Masters Swimming Australia, including
long-distance, open water, and endurance series swimming.

TRAINING SESSIONS:
– Monday night at GRAC with Shannon Lorimer (7-8:30pm)
– Tuesday morning sprints at Ford Swim Centre with Brian Ford (5:00-6:00am)
– Wednesday morning at Ford Swim Centre with Brian Ford (6:00-7:30am)
– Thursday night at GRAC with Shannon Lorimer (6:30-8:00pm)
– Optional Endurance 1000 session on Sundays (3:00-5:00pm) starting January 1, 2025
REGISTRATION:
– Register through Swim Central for both Swimming Australia and Masters Swimming Australia.

EQUIPMENT:
– Pool Bag, Traralgon Swimming Club Swim Cap, Kickboard, Goggles, Pull Buoy, Fins (available at Ford Swim Centre), and Water Bottle.
SQUAD FEES AND HEALTH MANAGEMENT:
– Monthly fees apply year-round, with exceptions for prolonged absences.
– Family discounts available.
– Health screenings and injury management support provided.
