Congratulations to Brian and Elayna, winners of major trophies at this year’s GSA award ceremony. Brian was awarded the Phil Shelley Trophy for outstanding contribution to the development of the sport of swimming. Elayna Pristrin was awarded the Tim Forsyth Trophy for Sporting Excellence. This continues a long history of outstanding Traralgon swimmers acknowledged through this award including Emily Beecroft (2014, 2015 and 2016), Mikaela Cornelissen (2012 and 2014) and Ellodie Reid (2013). Congratulations to both Brian and Elayna. Further congrats to Joel Baillie who was nominated for the David Drane award for consistency.
