The Traralgon Swimming Club was named runner-up in the “Club of the Year” award announced at the “Swimmer of the Year” presentations in Brisbane on 22nd December. Brian and Michelle Ford attended the awards night on behalf of the club as guests of Swimming Australia. The Award is part of the Go Club program and relates directly to the ‘score’ the club achieves in the Go Club PB survey. There are five areas of club management that are considered in the Award: Membership – development and retention, Administration, Activities, Coaching and Officiating and Marketing and Promotion. This is the second time the club has been so honoured – also counted amongst the top three clubs in 2010.
We congratulate Campbelltown Swimming Club (NSW) who won the Club of the Year Award for the second year in a row.
Congratulations to all members, Committee and Coaches for the hard work and dedication that leads to an honour such as this.
