It was with great pleasure that Brian announced Cameron’s appointment as a Club Coach at the TSC Christmas break-up on Wednesday night. Cameron will take up his position with the club from February 1 next year.
Cameron has been with the club since beginning as an 8 year old in season 2001/02. In that year Cameron was given the Club’s Encouragement Award – and it clearly stuck, because Cameron has been a dedicated member from that time – in spite of travel from Alberton to train and compete. Cameron has been a National swimmer for the club and, in 2013, Cameron was the Male Swimmer of the Meet at the Gippsland Championships winning 10 gold and one silver medals. He knows about determination, hard work and resilience. Cameron will be a great asset to our coaching panel and to our swimmers. We look forward to his broader contribution.
