Traralgon 2023/24 Presentation

The 2023/24 Presentation gala was held at the Morwell Bowling Club. We were delighted to be in their new function space, especially as there were 260+ attending on the evening. 210 swimmers and parents enjoyed a delicious buffet dinner and a further 50-60 junior swimmers and their parents enjoyed the early presentation from 4pm – 6:30pm.

It is a wonderful night for the club.  An opportunity to re-live the past 12 months and celebrate the many achievements of both the club and individuals.  We had successfully hosted some huge events and had record numbers of club swimmers both joining and competing.  We gave out almost 150 club trophies as well as acknowledging particular strengths, improvements and commitment to the club.

Club President and Emcee, Jane Mitchell, reviewed the season including Traralgon hosted, local, Country, State and National Championships as well as camps, celebrations, awards and successes- both club and individual, along the way. A power point presentation accompanied the night.

Squad coaches spoke of their swimmers, gathered on the stage, praising their efforts and abilities and awarded a trophy to one standout swimmer (AGL Coach’s Award) .

Club captains, Molly Cargill and Ashley Nicholes thanked Brian and club coaches Dean, Cam, Dave, Sam, Renee and Molly for their work and Jane thanked the committee for their work throughout the season and especially for the two three-day championship meets hosted at GRAC this past season.

Swimmers aged 7 & Under – Masters were awarded club trophies and Age Champions were named throughout. Here is a list of awards and trophies:
