Gippsland’s 7-10 team was once again the strongest Country district in Victoria winning the event by a huge margin.

The Traralgon Swimming Club had 22 swimmers represent the Gippsland District 21 with another big victory over the other Country Districts. This is now 24 years in a row for the District. Swimmers who medalled from the Club were as follows:
Jordyn Cargill (10) – 2 Gold, 1 Silver, 1 Bronze
Caydence Bezzina (10) – 1 Silver
Molly Cargill (8) – 3 Gold, 1 Silver
Zoe Dowler (9) – 1 Gold
Xavier Haberl (10) – 1 Gold, 1 Silver, 2 Bronze
Oliver Haberl (8) – 1 Gold, 2 Silver
Sophie Waller (10) – 1 Gold, 2 Silver, 1 Bronze
Abby Warner (9) – 1 Silver
Well done to Oliver Haberl, Lily Maxwell and Zoe Dowler (this week and last week at Vicentre Meet) who achieved their first Country times. Congratulations Swimmers!
As well as having a large contingent of Traralgon swimmers, the team was captained by Traralgon’s Sophie Waller and Jordyn Cargill.
