Congratulations to our State team ~ excellent result!

Thank you and very best of luck to Mikaela Cornelissen and Alex Tsebelis who swam in their last meet for the club before jetting off to new experiences, new teams, new places.  Both have been outstanding competitors for the club and we wish them continued great swimming.

What follows are Brian’s day-to-day reports from MSAC and the State Age Championships as found on Facebook

The first 2 days of Victorian State Age Championships have produced some terrific results with 19 finals, 1 silver and 3 bronze medals. Individually 12 year old Jordyn Cargill has had some excellent swims with bronze in the 100 f/s, 100 back and 100 fly. Alex Tsebelis (16) achieved a National time in the 50 free (24.87) and Alice Butler (16) after a long standing injury regained some confidence with a National 100 Breast time of 1.17. 54.
